Introduction: A meeting with the referrer, and referee over coffee, breakfast, or lunch; or at a participant’s office.

Referral: Where a referrer contacts and tells why it may be of benefit to him/her to the referee; getting permission for referee to call the referred to explore whether there is a fit and then the possibility of conducting business together.

Lead: Similar to a Warm Call, however, the salesperson knows there is currently a definite need for his/her product or service.
